This Earthing Sleep Mat is made of highly conductive, durable, vegan-friendly, non-toxic and vinyl free carbon infused leatherette. It is very thin and so it won’t trap heat against your body. The hypoallergenic nature of carbon helps combat allergens in your bed so these covers not only ground you, they also create a physical shield against the dust and mites living in your mattress. Simply slide the straps around your mattress and you’re done!

Carbon is the 2nd most abundant element in the human body after oxygen and this is what conducts the Earth's energy. It also makes the Elite Sleep Mat flame resistant naturally without the use of harsh flame resistant chemicals. There is no smell to the mattress cover.

It fits all size beds and measures 213cm x 67cm. For example it can be used length ways on a Single or King Single bed, or across the bed on a Double, Queen or King sized beds.

Why Use An Earthing Underlay ?

100% of the Earthing Elite™ Sleep Mat surface is conductive versus the surface area of a typical silver thread sheet which is only 8% conductive. This allows it to be used as an underlay to go between your mattress and fitted sheet. These Earthing Elite™ Sleep Mat are a great addition to our Earthing range for the following reasons:  

• Some people have favourite or expensive fitted sheets they want to use, and with a underlay this is a perfect solution
• There is less ‘wear and tear’ on the earthing underlay due to less washing and less body oil build up on the silver fibres, which makes for a long lasting product
• No washing is required, to clean, simply wipe down periodically using a non corrosive cleaner, and air dry
• You don’t need direct skin contact. The natural moisture on our skin supports the conductive effect through other materials so the electrons will still very effectively pass from your Sleep Mat to you. You can see how this works by doing a multimeter test - compare your body voltage with skin contact to the Sleep Mat and then lying on it with clothes. You will find a minimal difference in your readings. (Your product tester will work directly on the mat but not with a sheet in-between).

Care Instructions

To protect and extend the life of the Earthing Elite Mattress Cover, it is important to regularly wipe the mattress cover down with a damp cloth and a non-corrosive cleaner to remove a build-up of body sweat and natural skin oils. Do not use chlorine bleach or liquid fabric softener, or any detergent containing bleach or fabric softener, chemicals that can ruin the conductivity of the mat. Do not apply lotions, creams, or oils to the skin before bedtime on parts of your body that will be in contact with the Earthing mat. Such substances oxidize and can damage conductivity. Air dry the mat only.

A Power Outlet Tester should be used to verify that your electrical outlet is wired properly for grounding. Simply plug it into an outlet, turn on the power and 3 amber lights will read that your outlet is grounded and ready for use with an Earthing Product.

We offer a 1 year repair or replace warranty on our genuine Earthing products, which covers any defects that may inhibit your products from Earthing effectively. This warranty does not cover cosmetic imperfections that may appear after normal use and washing, that DON'T affect the product’s Earthing effectiveness. Earthing products must be used and cared for in accordance with the care instructions provided on this website and the printed instructions we include with all Earthing products. Failure to care for the Earthing product in accordance with the provided instructions can void the warranty.
